Peptic ulcer disease (PUD) is a common gastrointestinal disorder affecting about 10% of the world’s population. Over the last decades there has been tremendous advancement in understanding the PUD, diagnosis and treatments. Despite advances, there are still challenges in the management for its’ relapsing pattern, drug resistance, drug interactions and adverse effects.
