Author Biography

Megan Doherty, Children's Hospital of Eastern Ontario, Ottawa, Canada

Dr. Megan Doherty is a consultant physician on the Palliative Care Outreach Team on the Children's Hospital of Eastern Ontario where she practices pediatric palliative care. She completed her medical training, followed by specialist training in Pediatrics and Palliative Medicine at the University of Ottawa in Canada. She is currently living and working in Bangladesh. She is working with the charity World Child Cancer in Bangladesh, where she is developing pediatric palliative care services for children with cancer. She is also working at the International Diarrheal Diseases Research Center, Bangladesh.
