PAPER SUBMISSION

The journal, guided by international Editorial and Advisory Boards, is devoted to the publication of original research (Research paper, Review paper, Short communication) covering the following fields:
Section A: Physical and Mathematical Sciences: Physics, Mathematics, Statistics, Geophysics, Environmental Sciences, Computer and Information Technology, Engineering and related branches.
Section B: Chemical and Biological Sciences: Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmacy, Biology, Genetics, Fisheries and related branches.
The Editorial Board invites papers (both theoretical and experimental) from the researchers in the above and related branches.
Contributors from all over the world are invited to send manuscripts prepared in accordance with the style of the journal (please consult the complete Author Guidelines along with Instructions for Typesetting Manuscript Using MS-Word, or see JSR Vol 1 (1), pp v-xii (2009); DOI: 10.3329/jsr.v1i1.1704).

Publication charge: A modest publication charge of accepted articles (does not include Reprints) to defray the partial cost of journal handling is applicable for accepted articles of volume 2 and onward ? authors will get notification for that at appropriate time after acceptance of their articles. The rate per page of accepted paper is
a. Tk. 200 (Bangladesh)
b. US$ 5 (SAARC countries)
c. US$ 10 (all other countries)
Method of payment at present is via Telegraphic Transfer (TT), Money Gram, Swift Code Transfer or Direct Deposit to JSR account.

Some useful information for Authors:
1. MS Preparation: Consult ?Author Guidelines and Example Article? for preparing articles in MS Word only. May also see any published paper in JSR for style and figure, table sizes etc.
Further authors may visit the AuthorAID project (www.authoraid.inf) for benefit through its utility. AuthorAID is a global research community that provides networking, mentoring, resources and training for researchers in developing countries. In fact it is another INASP initiative to assist early career researchers to get their work published.

Complete 5 step processes. For multi-authored manuscript, submit information of all the co-authors while filling in Metadata during initial submission.
3. Publication schedule:
Frequency 3 issues per year as follows:
Issue 1: 1 January
Issue 2: 1 May
Issue 3: 1 September
4. Steps in the process of MS handling:
a. Acknowledgement of submission. Auto generated reply with MS ID for web submission.
MS ID is allocated and acknowledged by e-mail by the editor for e-mail submission.
b. Peer-review process: Normally takes 2 to 3 months - but may take longer depending upon the review situation.
c. Editorial decision: Author is informed as soon as a decision is made upon receipt of reviews.
