Author Biography

Mushira Habib

Mushira Habib is a Junior Lecturer, Department of English and Humanities, BRAC University. She completed both B.A. and M.A. programs in English Literature from ENH Department, BRACU. Her B.A. thesis, ?Memoirs or the Recounting of the Growth of the Artist?s Mind?, is a reading of autobiographies of notable writers like Tagore, Said and Pamuk, evaluating their personal and artistic development. Her M.A. thesis, ?Deconstruction and Reconstruction in Early Twentieth-Century America in the Short Fiction of Ernest Hemingway and William Faulkner?, looks at the short stories of Hemingway and Faulkner, and contextualizes them as representatives of the American ethos.
