General Information: The journal promotes multi-cultural and multi-disciplinary studies in the field of ethics in medicine and health care, genetics, law, education, policy, science, social science research and humanities. All material should be submitted to: Prof Shamima Parvin Lasker, Executive Editor, BJBio at splasker04@yahoo.com with forwarding latter include submission declaration that article ihas not been submitted to elswhere or not being considered for publication elsewhere. Authors have to declare originality of their work and transfer of copyright to Bangladesh Journal of bioethics. Submission Procesure: Articles is published in English language only. Articles should not exceed 5000 words, although longer manuscripts may be accepted. Please contact to Editor before hand. The word count excludes the title page, abstract, key words, tables, acknowledgements and the references. All articles are subjected to peer review system; therefore all manuscripts shall include a cover page stating: Title; all authors, professional title, institutional affiliation, telephone number, email address. Text shall have introduction, materials & methods/case presentation, result, discussion and conclusion. Text shall be double spaced, New Time Roman , 12 Font on A4 paper. Don't include foot note. Acknowledgements of people, grants, funds, etc. shall be placed in a separate section before the References. Please include author contribution and conflict of interest at the end of the article.
In text reference shall be numbered with superscript. A reference list shall appear at the end of the writing with the entries listed numerically and in the same order that they have been cited in the text. When an article has more than six authors, only the names of the first six authors shall be given followed by 'et al'. References to journals should give: name(s) of author(s), title of article, title of journal, year, volume number (Issues Number), page numbers. For example:

Conflict of interest: Author/s should declare conflict of interest (intellectual, financial or technical) if any before submission the article. Conflict of interest should be mentioned at the end of the article.
Authors Contribution: Authors should include author contributions. Each author should disclose publicly to readers what did each author do in the end of manuscript. Author(S) Contribution should be mentioned at the end of the article.
Authorship Criteria: Authors are those who have substantial intellectual, scholarly contribution to develop the ideas, design, conduct the study, analysis the data, or drafting the manuscript and take public responsibility for its contents during any allegation of falsification and misconduct. Each author should disclose publicly to readers what did each author do in the end of manuscript.
Please use the authorship criteria according to ICMJE criteria.
A single contributions are generally not adequate to justify authorship e.g the acquisition of funding, providing laboratory space, instrumentation, unusual materials, supervision position of a research group, involvement in patients or animal care, providing patient samples, the collection of data, statistical analysis, editing assistance, proof reading or editing of manuscripts, editors, statisticians, medical writers or translators. Their contribution can be rewarded in the acknowledge section.
Complain Procedure: Author(s) can submit a complaint to Editor regarding conflict of interest, plagiarism and duplication publication with valid documents. During submission of article the number of author(s) in author byline is final. No request for withdrawel of article by the author(s) is encouraged at the production level.
The Bangladesh Journal of Bioethics uses a double-blind peer review process so that the authors and reviewers names are withheld.

Publication and full text materials of Bangladesh Journal of Botany are free of costs. Journal does not charge any Article Processing Charge (APC) or submission fees from the author.

Bangladesh Journals Online (BanglaJOL) is a member of the Ubiquity Partner Network coordinated by Ubiquity Press. According to the EU definitions, BanglaJOL is the data controller, and Ubiquity Press are the service providers and data processors. Ubiquity Press provide the technical platform and some publishing services to BanglaJOL and operate under the principle of data minimisation where only the minimal amount of personal data that is required to carry out a task is obtained.

We regularly backup our databases, and we use reliable cloud service providers (Amazon, Google Cloud, Linode) to ensure they are kept securely. Backups are regularly rotated and the old data is permanently deleted. We have a clear internal data handling policy, restricting access to the data and backups to key employees only. In case of a data breach, we will report the breach to the affected users, and to the press/journal contacts within 72 hours.
Personal information is only used to deliver the services provided by the publisher. Personal data is not shared externally except for author names, affiliations, emails, and links to ORCiD and social media accounts (if provided) in published articles and books which are displayed as part of the article/book and shared externally to indexes and databases. If a journal operates under open peer review then the reviewer details are published alongside the reviewer details.
