Review Process

Please provide the information

A submitted manuscript is prima facie evaluated by the editor or the associate editors for its relevance and quality. If a manuscript passes the first stage, it is then sent to two reviewers for review.  If the reviewers give divided opinion on the acceptance and rejection decision, the manuscript is sent to a third reviewer and majority decision is sustained.  If the manuscript qualifies for publication, the editorial office communicates the comment/suggestions of the reviewers to the authors.  Upon receiving the revised version from the authors, it is sent to the reviewers for their confirmation. If the reviewers finally confirm the manuscript for publication, the manuscript is published.  The names of the authors and the reviewers kept confidential and anonymous through the entire editorial process.

Plagiarism

Once the reviewers, upon completion of the review process, decide that a manuscript acceptable for publication, it is then assessed for plagiarism using softwares such as Turnitin. If the originality report suggest a similarity index of 20 percent or less, the manuscript is finally accepted for publication else it is rejected.

Conflict of interest

An author, who is a member of the editorial board, ceases to be involved, directly or indirectly, in the review process. This ensures the sanctity of the double blind review process and the independence of the reviewers.
