Aims and scope: The KYANC Journal is a biomedical journal in Bangladesh especially designed for nursing education, research and training. The Khwaja Yunus Ali Nursing College Journal (KYANCJ) is a biomedical journal in Bangladesh especially designed for nursing education, research and training. It features the best research on various disciplines of nursing to provide a place for concerned scientists to related experiences, which will help others to render better health care. The KYANC Journal is a peer-reviewed journal and we published our article by maintaining the quality of academic standard. The aim of the journal is to contributing development of health science in both research and clinical field.

To fulfill the holy Prophecy of the great saint Hazrat Khwaja Yunus Ali (R) Khwaja Yunus Ali Nursing College at Enayetpur started its journey since 2005. Dr. M.M. Amjad Hussain established Khwaja Yunus Ali Nursing College to create excellent, efficient nurses with dignity because he realized that the nation needed their services. Khwaja Yunus Ali Nursing College is approved by republic of Bangladesh government ministry of health and family welfare under Bangladesh Nursing & Midwifery council and Rajshahi medical University.

Enayetpur is situated in Sirajganj district which is 147 KM. away from Dhaka and 22 KM. from the Jamuna Bridge, the junction of northern and southern part of the country. This college is affiliated with the Medical University of Rajshahi for B.Sc. in Nursing (Basic) and Diploma in Nursing Science and Midwifery with BNMC (Bangladesh Nursing and Midwifery Council) Dhaka. The course and curriculum are governed by the regulations of Bangladesh Nursing & Midwifery Council (BNMC).

The institute is the center for all professional diploma in nursing science & midwifery, B.Sc. in nursing (Basic). All the exams are held under medical university of Rajshahi & BNMC at KYANC. The nursing course is running according to the BNMC approved curriculum. The qualified, experienced faculty members are engaged in conducting the courses. This is the only institution in private sector having echo-friendly academic environment within a vast campus in the country in a completely rural area. The college has 600 bedded teaching hospital with modern healthcare equipment for the students and it has also a cancer institute for clinical practices as well.

The Peer Review Process

All submitted manuscript is subject to scrutiny by the editor and member of the Editorial Board. Manuscripts containing materials without sufficient value and of a priority issue, or not fulfilling the requirements for publication may be rejected or it may be sent back to the author(s) for resubmission with necessary modifications to suit one of the submission categories. Manuscripts fulfilling the requirements and found suitable for consideration are sent for peer review. Submissions, found suitable for publication by the reviewers, may need revision/modifications before being finally accepted. Editorial board finally decides upon the publish ability of the reviewed and revised/modification submission. Proof of accepted manuscript may be sent to the authors and should be corrected and returned to the editor office within one week. No addition to the manuscript at this stage will be accepted. All accepted manuscripts are edited according to the journal’s style. 

Publication Frequency

Khwaja Yunus Ali Nursing College Journal (KYANCJ) is published in one issue (one volume) every year (January).

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.

Article Processing Fees

Our journal is free to everyone. Full text of all the contents is always available. There is no article processing charges (APCs) or submission charges. Our readers can copy, distribute, and use their attributed research for non-commercial purpose free of charge. Our journal retains copyright of the articles through a Creative Commons attribution license (CC-BY 4.0).
