Aim and Scope

Asian-Australasian Journal of Bioscience and Biotechnology is an open access and peer-reviewed international journal that aims to publish high-quality papers to make rapidly available to researchers nation and worldwide.

It publishes high quality and novelty scientific papers focusing on Bioscience and Biotechnology (Agriculture & Environmental Sciences, Animal Sciences, Aquatic Biology, Zoology, Food Science & Technology, Marine Bioscience, Biotechnology, Cellular and Molecular Biology, Developmental Biology, Immunology and Microbiology, Applied Biochemistry, Biomedical Sciences, Genetics, Genetic Engineering, Bioinformatics, Enzyme Engineering, Nano-Bio-Analysis, Protein Engineering, Computational Biology, Biological Evolution, Industrial Processes, Ecology and Ecotoxicology, Biostatistics, Biophysics and so on).

Review Process/Policy

Articles submitted to Asian-Australasian Journal of Bioscience and Biotechnology are subject to strict peer-reviewing. Once a manuscript passes the initial checks, it will be assigned to at least two independent experts for peer-review. The journal operates a single-blind peer-review (the reviewers know the authors’ identities, but the authors do not know the reviewers’ identities). Peer review comments are confidential and will only be disclosed with the express agreement of the reviewer.

Key characteristics of peer review process are listed below:

  • All research articles are reviewed by at least two suitably qualified experts.
  • A reviewer that accepts the invitation will be given 14 days to complete a review. After 14 days the review becomes overdue. If the reviewer doesn’t respond to the personal email, the manuscript invitation will be withdrawn and the next reviewer will be invited.
  • All publication decisions are made by the journals’ Editor-in-Chief or a suitable editorial board member on the basis of the reviews provided.
  • Members of the international Editorial Boards lend insight, advice, and guidance to the Editor-in-Chief generally and to assist decision-making on specific submissions.
  • Editorial Assistants provide the administrative support that allows this journal to maintain the integrity of peer review while delivering rapid turnaround and maximum efficiency to authors, reviewers, and editors alike.

All articles of Asian-Australasian Journal of Bioscience and Biotechnology are published under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License. Readers can copy, distribute, transmit and adapt the work provided the original work and source are appropriately cited.


Submission of a manuscript implies that authors have met the requirements of the editorial policy and publication ethics. Authors retain the copyright of their articles published in the journal. However, authors agree that their articles remain permanently open access under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License.

Publication Frequency

Asian-Australasian Journal of Bioscience and Biotechnology is published three times in a year (April, August and December).

Open Access Policy

Asian-Australasian Journal of Bioscience and Biotechnology is an open access international journal in both print and online version. Abstracts and full texts of all articles published in the journals can be read online without any form of restriction.

Publication Fees

Please note that publication fees apply only to the manuscripts accepted for publication in Asian-Australasian Journal of Bioscience and Biotechnology.

Inland: Authors of Bangladesh will be levied @ BD Tk. 7,000/- per accepted manuscript.
Foreign: Author(s) of manuscripts originating from outside Bangladesh have to pay @ US $ 150 for each accepted article.
