Secondly, to provide the most rapid turnaround time possible for reviewing and publishing and to disseminate the article freely for teaching and reference purposes. The IJARIT vision is a comprehensive, full-service system for all entities concerned with agricultural research. IJARIT operates as an open access journal and, therefore, adopts the standard open access business model where authors pay the Article Publishing Fees (APF) to allow anyone to read their article for free (author-pay/reader-free). IJARIT aims to be a leading outlet for agriculturists, researchers, scientists, scholars, and professionals for their scholastic works. An international board of editors is determined to reduce editorial turnaround time and encourage submissions of the highest quality.

Publication Frequency

The journal is published biannually, twice a year (June and December).

Publication Ethics & Malpractice Statement

The International Journal of Agricultural Research, Innovation and Technology (IJARIT) is committed to maintaining the highest ethical standards in scholarly publishing. This statement outlines IJARIT's ethical policies in accordance with the Principles of Transparency and Best Practice in Scholarly Publishing (2022) developed by COPE, DOAJ, OASPA, and WAME.

Authorship and Contributorship

IJARIT requires that all authors listed on a manuscript have made substantial contributions to the conception, design, execution, or interpretation of the research. All contributors who meet the criteria for authorship should be listed. Gift or ghost authorship is strictly prohibited. The corresponding author must confirm that all co-authors have reviewed and approved the final manuscript before submission.

Duties of Authors

  • Originality & Plagiarism: Submissions must be original work and not under review elsewhere. Proper citation of all sources is required.
  • Accurate Reporting: Data must be reported truthfully. Any misconduct—fabrication, falsification—is unacceptable.
  • Authorship: Authorship credit must reflect actual contributions. All authors must approve the final version and submission.
  • Ethical Approval: Research involving humans, animals, or biosafety-sensitive materials must include documented ethical approval and informed consent.
  • Data Accessibility: Raw data may be requested for verification and must be retained (ideally publicly deposited) for at least 10 years.
  • Conflict of Interest & Funding Disclosure: Any financial or personal relationships affecting the work must be disclosed, including funding sources.
  • Corrections & Retractions: Authors are obliged to notify the editor of significant errors, cooperating in issuing corrections, expressions of concern, or retractions as appropriate.

Duties of Editors

  • Decisions: The Editor-in-Chief holds full responsibility for publication decisions, guided by relevance, originality, academic quality, and legal standards (e.g., libel, copyright, plagiarism).
  • Impartiality: Manuscripts are judged solely on intellectual merit, without bias regarding nationality, gender, religion, ethnicity, political views, or other personal characteristics.
  • Confidentiality: Submission files must remain confidential. Only authors, reviewers, editorial advisors, and the publisher may access them.
  • Conflict of Interest: Editors must recuse themselves from decisions involving manuscripts where they have personal or institutional conflicts. Unpublished materials must not be used for personal research.

Duties of Reviewers

  • Objective Evaluation: Reviews should be honest, balanced, constructive, and supported by evidence.
  • Timely Conduct: Reviewers should accept invitations only if confident they can assess promptly; otherwise, they should decline.
  • Confidentiality: The peer-review process is strictly confidential.
  • Disclosure: Any potential conflict of interest must be declared, and reviewers should refuse assignments where a conflict exists.
  • Citation Integrity: Overlooked relevant literature should be brought to the editor’s attention. Similarities to unpublished or published work must be reported.

Duties of the Publisher

  • Editorial Independence: Business interests—such as advertising, sponsorship, and reprints—must not influence editorial decisions.
  • Support for Ethical Practice: Publishers shall provide COPE-compliant training and tools (e.g., plagiarism-detection software) to support journal policy enforcement.
  • Handling Misconduct: Allegations of misconduct will be investigated following COPE procedures; results may include rejection, correction, expression of concern, or retraction.
  • Archival Preservation: All published content will be digitally preserved in stable, secure formats for long-term accessibility.

Plagiarism & Misconduct Policy

IJARIT follows COPE guidelines in dealing with allegations of research misconduct including data fabrication, falsification, plagiarism, and unethical research practices. If misconduct is proven, the article will be retracted, and relevant institutions may be notified.

Retraction & Correction Policy

In confirmed cases of error or ethical breach:

  • Corrections (errata/corrigenda) are issued for honest mistakes.
  • Retractions occur when reliability is compromised.
  • Expressions of Concern may be published if investigations are ongoing.

These actions follow COPE retraction guidelines, ensuring transparency and indexing updates.

Complaints and Appeals

Complaints related to the editorial process or publication ethics can be submitted to the editorial board at editor@ijarit.online. Appeals regarding editorial decisions will be handled by an independent committee of the editorial board, and authors will be informed of the final decision with supporting justification.

Conflicts of Interest

All authors, reviewers, and editors must disclose any financial or non-financial conflicts of interest that may influence the content or decision-making process. A declaration of interest must be included in all published papers, even if the authors declare no conflict.

Data Sharing and Reproducibility

Authors must be prepared to provide raw data supporting the results for editorial review upon request and should make datasets available through recognized data repositories where appropriate. IJARIT encourages open data practices that promote transparency and reproducibility of scientific findings.

Ethical Oversight

All research involving human participants, animals, or sensitive data must receive approval from an appropriate ethics committee. Authors must include an ethics statement confirming such approval. Informed consent must be obtained where applicable. IJARIT may reject or retract articles that fail to meet ethical standards.

Intellectual Property

Authors must ensure that their submitted work does not violate any intellectual property rights. IJARIT respects copyright and licensing rules. The journal operates under an open-access model using a Creative Commons Attribution License (CC BY) unless otherwise stated.

Post-Publication Discussion and Corrections

IJARIT allows and encourages post-publication discussions through letters to the editor or formal comments. The editorial board may publish corrections, retractions, or expressions of concern if significant errors or ethical issues are identified after publication.

For further inquiries regarding ethical matters, please contact: Editor-in-Chief (editor@ijarit.online).

Open Access Policy

All articles published in the Int. J. Agril. Res. Innov. Tech. (IJARIT) journal are fully open access: immediately freely available to read, download, and share without any form of restriction. The journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.

Peer Review Policy

The IJARIT Open Access journal maintains the highest standards of peer review while increasing the efficiency of the process. All research articles published in IJARIT undergo full peer review, the key characteristics of which are listed below:

  • Upon submission to the journal, every manuscript undergoes an initial screening process by the Executive Editor. Those who meet the journal's author guidelines and fall within IJARIT's purview are subjected to the review procedure following the initial screening.
  • The IJARIT uses a double-blind review process in which the reviewer or authors are anonymous to one another.
  • At least two suitably qualified experts review all research and review articles.
  • On the basis of the reviewers' comments, the Chief Editor of the journal makes the decisions.
  • Members of the International Editorial Board lend insight, advice, and guidance to the Chief Editor and assist in decision-making on specific submissions.
  • The Executive Editor provides the administrative support to maintain the integrity of peer review while delivering rapid turnaround and maximum efficiency to authors, reviewers, and editors.

Article Withdrawal Policy

Manuscripts may be withdrawn within 7 days of submission. Once a manuscript is published, it cannot be taken back. Articles will only be taken down, retracted, or removed if there are any legal disputes or copyright violations that go against professional ethics, like multiple submissions, false claims of authorship, plagiarism, fraudulent use of data, or similar things.

Publication Fee

IJARIT Research Foundation is a self-supporting organization and does not receive funding from any institution or government. Authors are required to pay a fair manuscript handling fee for the processing of their articles. However, there are no submission charges. Authors are required to make payment only after their manuscripts have been accepted for publication. After acceptance of the paper, authors will have to pay BDT 5000/= (for Bangladeshi) or USD 100$ (other than Bangladeshi) as article processing charges (APC) for editing, online publishing, archiving, and evaluation of the article through the online banking system or Western Union Money Transfer.

Waiver Policy

The IJARIT journal is fully open access and requires article processing charges (APCs) to be paid following acceptance. To help support researchers who are unable to meet some or all of the costs associated with publishing open access, the IJARIT Research Foundation operates a transparent waiver policy, ensuring researchers from low-income countries can easily understand what automatic support for article processing charges is available to them. However, qualified authors from low-income countries, as described at https://datahelpdesk.worldbank.org may be considered for waivers.

Plagiarism Policy

The editorial office of the International Journal of Agricultural Research, Innovation and Technology (IJARIT) performs a preliminary plagiarism check through plagiarism checker software on each manuscript when it is submitted. The author should aim at zero plagiarism when it is an original paper. However, up to 15% similarity is allowed in many indexed journals. Therefore, IJARIT is allowed to keep the plagiarism level below 15%.

Copyright Policy

The International Journal of Agricultural Research, Innovation and Technology publishes all of its articles under open access, which entails unrestricted online access for everyone. In addition, the authors retain unrestricted copyright and all publishing rights to their article(s) and grant any third party the right to use, reproduce, and disseminate the article(s). IJARIT publishes open access articles under the Creative Commons Attribution License (CC BY 4.0). This license permits use, distribution, and reproduction in any medium, provided the original work is properly cited.

Self-Archiving Policy

The self-archiving policy of IJARIT aims to support open access to scientific research and information sharing that ensures that there are no paywalls or other access restrictions on the study and enables researchers to disseminate their findings more widely. IJARIT permitted to deposit all versions of the published articles in an institutional or subject repository. This policy gives authors the freedom to store their own academic works in their particular institutional repositories or on non-profit subject-based preprint servers. Authors are granted the privilege of self-archiving their work for non-commercial purposes.

Archiving Policy

IJARIT Journal is committed to the long-term preservation of its content. All articles published by the journal are preserved by the Internet Archive, Keepers Registry & LOCKSS
