With limited resources and less than required number of skilled personnel, the Paediatric Surgeons in this country are providing services to the cause. Association of Paediatric Surgeons of Bangladesh (APSB) is committed to the task with utmost dedication. Journal of Paediatric Surgeons of Bangladesh (JPSB) the official publication of APSB aims to draw attention to the particular problems involved and encourage the publication and dissemination of studies carried out in the field of practicing surgery in children in developing countries.

Focus and Scope
Journal of Paediatric Surgeons of Bangladesh (JPSB) is a peer-reviewed journal for surgeons practicing and interested in surgical procedures in children. This is the official journal of Association of Paediatric Surgeons of Bangladesh (APSB). The journal is recognized by Bangladesh Medical & Dental Council (BMDC) and has a vast reader base across the country.
The journal publishes articles of authors from any part of the globe, but has a special interest in publishing research articles of authors from Bangladesh and developing countries and of relevance to developing countries. It publishes original research articles, review articles, short communications, case reports and letters on new findings.

JPSB is published in English twice (January and July) a year. No separate supplements are published as of now. Appropriate measures were taken to make the journal indexed/abstracted in major international indexing systems including the PubMed/MEDLINE, Index Medicus, Google Scholar, DOAJ, Hinari and Scopus etc.

Peer Review Process

Publication of research articles by JPSB is dependent primarily on their scientific validity and coherence as judged by our external expert editors and/or peer reviewers, who will also assess whether the writing is comprehensible and whether the work represents a useful contribution to the field.
