Guidelines for Authors
The special allocation for science and technology (S&T) research has generated a high level of enthusiasm among the scientific community of Bangladesh. Ministry of Science and Technology provided fund for research in Biological, Medical, Environmental, Engineering, Physical science and other Interdisciplinary group to develop qualified manpower in crucial areas of S&T. The Journal of Science and Technology Research (JSciTR) is published once a year under the auspices of the Ministry of Science and Technology. The JSciTR receives manuscript by invitation only. The JSTR is basically an initiative to recognize the successfully implemented project in a particular fiscal year as a showcase project. Invitation of submission of manuscript is generally called based on the final report of a project after preliminary review by the expert members of Editorial Board and Reviewer Panel of JSTR. All submissions pass through a rigorous review and the expert team of JSciTR takes the final decision about the suitability for the publication of the manuscript. The following guidelines should be followed strictly while submitting the manuscript.
Preparation of manuscript
All manuscripts must be typed in Times Roman 12 points on A4 size paper with double space. The manuscript of a full paper should prefer- ably be limited to 15-18 typed pages (ca. 3,500 words) including Tables, Figures, Graphs, etc.
There should be a title page containing the title of the paper, name(s) of author(s) and their addresses and a running head. The second page should carry the title of the paper with abstract to be followed by Introduction, Materials and Methods, etc. without name(s)/particulars of the author(s).

Submission of manuscript
The manuscript should be submitted via email to: section9@most.gov.bd. The submission should contain a cover letter certifying that the work was carried out by them and the contents of the paper were not published before or submitted for publication in any other journal. The authors should declare that this research findings reported in this article do not have any conflicting interest.

References: The cited references must be listed in alphabetical order of the author's name, year of publication, title and other details at the end of the text. References inside the text should be written by the last name of the author’s name and year of publication (Wallis, 1996). In case of two authors references should be (Wallis and Wearne, 1996) and if more than two, reference should be written as (Wallis et al. 1996). Reference style should be as follows:

Bangladesh Journals Online (BanglaJOL) is a member of the Ubiquity Partner Network coordinated by Ubiquity Press. According to the EU definitions, BanglaJOL is the data controller, and Ubiquity Press are the service providers and data processors. Ubiquity Press provide the technical platform and some publishing services to BanglaJOL and operate under the principle of data minimisation where only the minimal amount of personal data that is required to carry out a task is obtained.

We take seriously our duty to process your personal data in a fair and transparent way. We collect and manage user data according to the following Privacy Policy. This document is part of our Terms of Service, and by using the press portal, affiliated journals, book, conference and repository websites (the “Websites”), you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy and the Terms of Service. We regularly backup our databases, and we use reliable cloud service providers (Amazon, Google Cloud, Linode) to ensure they are kept securely. Backups are regularly rotated and the old data is permanently deleted. We have a clear internal data handling policy, restricting access to the data and backups to key employees only. In case of a data breach, we will report the breach to the affected users, and to the press/journal contacts within 72 hours.
Personal information is only used to deliver the services provided by the publisher. Personal data is not shared externally except for author names, affiliations, emails, and links to ORCiD and social media accounts (if provided) in published articles and books which are displayed as part of the article/book and shared externally to indexes and databases. If a journal operates under open peer review then the reviewer details are published alongside the reviewer details.
