Editorial Policies

The Editorial Office of the KYAMC Journal is comprised of a dedicated team of medical and publishing professionals. We are committed to delivering an efficient, transparent, and rigorous editorial process for both authors and reviewers.

Core Responsibilities

The editorial team oversees the lifecycle of every manuscript, focusing on four primary areas:

  • Peer Review Facilitation: Managing a seamless manuscript review workflow. We ensure reviewers receive comprehensive guidelines so authors get constructive, high-quality feedback to improve their work.
  • Editorial Quality Control: Conducting thorough editing, proofreading, and reformatting to guarantee that all content meets the journal's strict stylistic and academic benchmarks.
  • Issue Compilation & Production: Curating and assembling accepted manuscripts into formal journal issues, ensuring timely online and print publication without compromising presentation standards.
  • Author & Reviewer Support: Serving as a direct point of contact to assist users with the submission system, address technical issues, and resolve editorial queries.

Publishing and Ethical Standards

To maintain the highest level of scientific integrity, the KYAMC Journal strictly adheres to international publishing frameworks:

⚖️ Ethical Frameworks Followed:

  • ICMJE Recommendations: We follow the Recommendations for the Conduct, Reporting, Editing, and Publication of Scholarly Work in Medical Journals issued by the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors.
  • COPE Guidelines: We operate in strict compliance with the Code of Conduct and Best Practice Guidelines for Journal Editors from the Committee on Publication Ethics.

These standards serve as our structural benchmark to ensure objective peer review, prevent publication misconduct, and maintain absolute transparency throughout the publication cycle.
