Bangladesh Journal of Medical Biochemistry publishes original, peer-reviewed scientific articles related to all aspects of medicine with special emphasis on analytical and clinical chemistry, immunochemistry, molecular biology, genetics and cellular communication. In addition to original articles, Bangladesh Journal of Medical Biochemistry also considers review articles, case reports and letters to the editor (comments / observations) for publication if accepted by the reviewers. The primary mission of this journal is to serve the public interest in health care by disseminating the knowledge pertaining to the biochemical basis of physio-pathological processes, and to the biochemical tools in diagnosis, prognosis and monitoring of a disease process. This journal also acts as an interdisciplinary bridge amongst various branches of medicine.
Bangladesh Journal of Medical Biochemistry is an official Journal of the Bangladesh Society of Medical Biochemists (BSMB) and this journal aims to play a leadership role in the field of laboratory medicine in general and clinical chemistry in particular.
